After doing the Pledge of Allegiance, Tylan picked what we did first this morning and he seems to have a passion for American History just like Karter, so we started out with U.S. Presidents.
For Language Arts we made a list of words that rhyme with Play (long A's) then Karter formed and wrote down a story using some of the long vowel a rhyming words.
As a tactic to keep Kris in one place during school I tried parking him in the high chair, after about 15 mins he wanted nothing to do with that, but he then played quietly with toys instead of finding trouble, so ultimately progress! We have finally con-ed him into drinking my pumped mama milk, He will drink it for anyone as long as I'm not around but thanks to Nana, chocolate milk straws have done the trick...nutritious and delicious! haha Now to start working though the 1,000 oz of momma milk I still have left!
Karter's prayer tonight (I'm gonna try to record it one night, they're always sweet and/or funny): "Dear God, thank you for my bunk bed. I love it so much. Please take care of my little brother and make sure he doesn't wake me up in the morning because I really wanna sleep in. Amen."
