Let the tourism continue...Today we went to the NAS Patuxent River Airplane Museum. This base is a huge base for research and development, so there is some major history that was made on this base! We thoroughly enjoyed walking around and seeing the models of boats, and photos of jets and historic buildings on base, as well as watching a show on some things that are done here on this base and some historic events that have occurred on this base! They had some really cool flight simulators that Karter was really wanting to try out but they had a 10+ age limit on them so he was very disappointed! Cody says he has one at home that he bought on one of his deployments...maybe he'll pull it out and let Karter have a whirl! After seeing all of the indoor museum we also got to see all the Jets up close and personal outside! The boys both got a toy jet as a souvenir. Karter's new favorite Jet is the F18, Blue Angel to be specific!!
