Just to make Friday even more fun Krissy lost his very first tooth! I specifically recorded it because Karter’s first one was while I was driving and he was so overly dramatic, he ended up losing it in his car seat and I had to pull over and calm everyone down. Krissy was so chill about it though!
He’s watched his brother lose 6 teeth now over the past 2 years so he knows the routine and was very excited to finally get to do it for the first time! We have this cute keepsake tooth fairy kit that I got off Amazon (check it out here: Keepsake Tooth Fairy Kit), so after showing everyone in the house his tooth he eagerly got to filling out the envelope.
It goes in the tooth pillow to hang on the door at bedtime. He also gets a cute sticker to wear with pride!
Come morning he had a crisp shiny $2 bill shooting in his pillow!

What better way to end a week than at the library!? In this season of life we often don’t get to stay at the library for long because Kandy gets to rowdy. So today’s motivator was if they wrap up school by 10:15, they can get a whole hour at the library because there’s a preschool class to entertain Kandy! They took on the challenge and enjoyed their time!! Kandy’s preschool class was dinosaurs themed, it included making a wearable Dino tail! Checkout all the loot they came home with!
My middle child is totally digging word searches lately, he will bring me an activity book and we sit doing them together. As I’m sitting there with him helping search for words, I can hear him lightly whispering the spelling of the word over and over while he’s searching for the word. I thought “wow, if only I could get him to do that with his spelling words each week!!” So a little google search and I find that of course others have already thought of it. I tinkered with a few of them but found a favorite, so I just wanna share this genius word search generator with others. You can put in your kids spelling words and use it as a fun activity. You can also have the option to pick a theme and it’ll generate the words. When my oldest heard I was making one he wanted one too, can’t have Krissy having all the fun in the house!! LOL Pop’s even proved that honestly, you’re never to old for a good word search!! It may or may not have gotten a tad competitive in our home!!
P.S. This website has a handwriting worksheet generator that I’ve used in the past for helping my preschoolers write their name!!
