Week 7 of the 2020 Weekly Photo Challenge is to pay attention to different surfaces and photograph your favorite. I love the texture that rings of a tree create, so I went out looking for some, however maybe because it was wet or maybe because of the jagged edges they didn't turn out the way I had hoped and after editing this pinecone was difinitely my favorite shot.
