Sensitive skin is one not so fun issue! My oldest son has very sensitive skin, we've had him tested for allergies, we've eliminated things from his diet, we've tried a million different types of bath soaps, lotions, laundry soaps, wipes, diapers...while I've finally found some products that work better then others it all leads to he has SUPER sensitive skin and just can't handle the common ingredients in standard products. So the best things I've found is to go all natural!
I've recently found one product that is all natural and it will replace many chemicals and products from my home that can irritate his skin! It may be new to us but by no means is this a new product! Drum Roll Please......

This is not a new product by any means, Dr Bronners Magic Soap have been around for over 150 years! It is a pure castile soap, castile- meaning it is vegetable oil based, gentle, ecological and simple.
Ofcourse what lead me to try Dr. Bronner's was for a soap to use for my sensitive skinned babies. Knowing my older son has such sensitive skin I really wanted to get rid of Johnson and Johnson's all together, especially with another possibly sensitive skinned baby on the way!

So I purchased a 8oz bottle from Whole Foods for $5.89, which was way better then the prices on Dr. Bronners website and Amazon especially counting shipping! It has this crazy label on it with all kinds of writing in all different directions, I was reading it and was curious the breakdown of some of it!
They advertise it having 18 uses but their list on the website is very vague and doesn't include recipes, so I made a list of potential uses then searched over many websites, forums, blogs, reviews and created this list and some recipes! I have 22 uses on my list:

These are a few bottles I use for my different mixtures. You can use any kind of bottles, you may even have some just laying around the house and if not they're at most stores (Dollar Tree, Walmart, Target, etc) for pretty cheap!!
When I purchased it for $5.89, I figured it wasn't too terribly priced compared to the many other brands of baby wash products I've tried...however I had no clue at the time that only 1 drop is needed for shampooing and a few drops for body wash...I realized this bottle can go such a long way for that price...so even better deal!!! I was impressed from the very first night, my sons skin was so soft! Within a few days all skin irritation bumps had nearly disappeared!!
I was already planning to use it for a few other baby related things as well, but then came my last trimester nesting and I was out of toilet bowl cleaner so I mixed some up to substitute, and it worked great! so we decided to try it out as bathroom cleaner too since the kaboom was killing my mom with fumes! She couldn't stop oooohhhing and aaaaahhhing about how great it worked, nice clean smell and left her hands feeling soft!
After 3 weeks now of using it for various things I'm still in love with it! I've purchased some more and I'm trying out different scents! My favorite part is its versatility! It works for anything from my babies to the dogs, to the toilets and the plants, and a little bit really does go a long way!!
I was also able to purchase Dr. Bronners Magic Soaps from Target, it costs a bit more then Whole Foods, but they had some cute travel ones available in 2 of the scents! :)
